Email: info@intersol.ca
Alex Keenan is a facilitator, trainer and communications consultant who is driven by a belief in the transformative power of communication and connection. She loves working with purpose-driven organizations to enhance accessibility, inclusion and psychological safety, and to develop systems, processes and strategies that support their success.
Alex practiced law in Ontario and Quebec before making the shift to training and facilitation in 2018. As a result, her facilitation style is practical and policy-informed but is balanced by elements of creativity and humor which make difficult conversations more accessible – a result of her experience as a performer and teacher of improv comedy.
Guided by empathy and a passion for discovery, Alex has worked with clients such as the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Canadian Embryo Transfer Association and the Sustainable Capacity Solutions family of social enterprises on major initiatives such as accessibility & inclusion, strategic planning, communications strategy and succession planning.
Alex is fluently bilingual in English and French and speaks advanced conversational Spanish. She lives in Ottawa and sits on the boards of too many environmental organizations for her own good. She enjoys hiking and camping, especially in areas without cell reception.
