Julie lives for the ah-ha moment. Whether it’s teaching, coaching or facilitating teams and individuals, she helps remove the noise and clutter of business complexity to quickly address and solve the most pressing business decisions, risks, problems and crises.
As the Principal of 8Ball Clarity, she supports leaders and organizations to strategically move from thought to action and achieve concrete results. As a trusted partner, she develops customized approaches to meet the people and the business where they are at.
She has a track record of successfully building, re-engineering, and improving divisions, processes and teams in an array of business functions. A former executive from the Canadian Banknote Company, she’s tackled enterprise risk, global quality supply chain, digital transformations, rapid manufacturing scaling, new product launches, business strategy, organization development and talent management.
Driven by curiosity and continuous improvement, Julie has an insatiable learning thirst and reads all the business books she can get her hands on. Julie holds the following degrees and certifications:
- Masters in Engineering Management; a combination of Systems Engineering and Business Administration. A thesis in Lean Methodologies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving & Decision-Making Program Leader
- ProSci Change Management Certification
- IRCC Organization Development Certification (in work)
Julie is fluently bilingual in English and French and has 40+ countries visited under her belt.
She keeps busy as a board member, volunteer, speaker, biker and gym rat. She lives in Ottawa, Canada with her “football” loving English husband and fur kid.
