Marika supports clients in developing and applying innovative human-centered strategies to leverage opportunities, solve problems and strengthen teams. She applies a variety of philosophies, tools and methodologies including: Results-Based Management (RBM), design thinking, content marketing, and Strategyzer’s Business Model Canvas.
As a consultant, communications specialist and facilitator, she draws on her diverse portfolio of projects in Canada and abroad, helping organizations develop new programs, operate more strategically, improve relationships with internal and external stakeholders and market themselves through digital and traditional media channels. Clients and colleagues express appreciation for her sincere, enthusiastic, curious, and inclusive demeanor.
Marika is fluently bilingual in French and English and masters Latin American Spanish at an advanced level. She has advised, supported, and presented to a variety of municipal, state and non-profit actors worldwide. She has also served as an organizational spokesperson to media such as CTV News Network, Radio Canada and Global News Montreal.
Marika holds an Executive Certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. An avid learner, she has completed further professional education in content marketing, proofreading, social media strategy, and design thinking, having received in-person training from IDEO U.
Outside of client work, Marika actively pursues continuing education and volunteer projects such as guest hosting “How to Life,” a podcast dedicated to Millennials exploring life’s big questions.
Marika is a member of the International Association of Facilitators and the Creative Education Foundation.
